Job Title: Licensed Mental Health Therapist
About the Role:
Gotham Enterprises Ltd is seeking a skilled Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team. As a Licensed Mental Health Therapist, you will provide therapy services to children, adolescents, and their families who are struggling with emotional, behavioral, and developmental problems.
Responsibilities:
- Counsel and provide crisis intervention for patients, including assessment and treatment of emotional and behavioral problems.
- Consult and coordinate with family and/or support system regarding client treatment and discharge planning.
- Communicate with physicians to report patient progress, needs, concerns, and potential and actual problems.
- Maintain accurate and timely records, including clinical and progress notes, according to department policy.
- Work closely with members of the health care team in the development of the plan of treatment, including discharge plans, based on the psychosocial assessment, and accepted social work interventions.
Requirements:
- Master's degree in Social Work, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy, or Psychology.
- Active California state licensure as LMFT, LCSW, or LPCC.
- At least 2 years of experience working with children or families with developmental differences.
- Ability to work independently, self-directed, and highly organized.
- Proficient computer skills, including MS Office.
- Strong computer skills, including word processing, e-mail systems, spreadsheets, and electronic medical records.
