Firefighter/Paramedic

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Firefighter/Paramedic to join our team at the Village of Jackson WI. As a Firefighter/Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services, responding to emergency calls, and performing fire inspections.

• Provide emergency medical services, including responding to emergency calls and treating patients at the Paramedic level.
• Perform fire inspections, including inspecting properties, new and existing buildings, and special events for fire hazards and compliance with fire codes and regulations.
• Respond to emergency calls, including structural fires, emergency medical calls, vehicle accidents, and hazardous materials spills or releases.
• Perform suppression, rescue, and salvage operations, including operating gas-powered saws or fans, operating heavy rescue equipment, and using various hand tools.
• Assist in providing prevention and public education programs, including developing and implementing public education programs and activities.

• Wisconsin Certified Fire Fighter I.
• Licensed State of Wisconsin Paramedic.
• Preferred Certified Driver/Operator-Pumper.
• Experience in fire and EMS work.
