Soliant Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team. As a Speech-Language Pathologist, you will work closely with students, educators, and families to address speech and language challenges that impact learning and communication.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate and Diagnose: Conduct comprehensive evaluations to diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in students.
- Develop and Implement Treatment Plans: Create individualized treatment plans aligned with students' educational needs, focusing on creating effective communication strategies and enhancing students' academic and social success.
- Deliver Speech and Language Therapy: Provide speech and language therapy in individual and group settings, utilizing evidence-based practices to promote student progress.
- Collaborate with Educational Staff: Work closely with teachers, parents, and other educational staff to support students' communication goals and develop strategies to promote student success.
- Monitor Progress and Adjust Therapy Techniques: Regularly monitor students' progress and adjust therapy techniques as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Participate in IEP Meetings: Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings to contribute to the development of educational strategies and ensure student goals are met.
Qualifications:
- Education: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or a related field.
- Licensure and Certification: Valid Michigan SLP license and ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP).
- Experience: Experience working with children in a school setting.
- Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
