Job Summary:

Quality Guard MSO is seeking a highly skilled Physician Assistant to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional care to patients with musculoskeletal conditions, working under the supervision of orthopedic surgeons and physicians.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct thorough patient histories and physical examinations focusing on the musculoskeletal system.

Order, interpret, and analyze diagnostic tests, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to identify orthopedic conditions.

Diagnose a variety of orthopedic conditions, including fractures, sprains, arthritis, and sports injuries.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with supervising orthopedic physicians.

Prescribe and administer medications, physical therapy, and other treatments as necessary.

Provide non-surgical treatments such as casting, splinting, and joint injections.

Assist in the surgical management of orthopedic conditions, including pre-operative and post-operative care.

Collaborate with orthopedic physicians, surgeons, and other healthcare team members to provide coordinated and effective patient care.

Requirements:

Strong clinical and diagnostic skills specific to orthopedic conditions.

Proficiency in performing orthopedic procedures, including casting, splinting, and joint injections.

Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.

Proficiency in electronic health records (EHR) systems.

Customer service-oriented mindset with a focus on patient satisfaction.

Ability to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.

Dexterity to perform medical procedures.

Strength to assist patients with mobility and to handle orthopedic equipment.
