We are seeking a skilled Pharmacist to join our team at Hospice of Wichita Falls. As a key member of our interdisciplinary team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring the safe and effective use of medications.
Responsibilities- Establish and maintain accurate and up-to-date records of medications, including procurement, storage, and inventory management.
- Participate in the development and implementation of a formulary for the facility, in collaboration with the Medical Directors and QAPI committee.
- Procure and manage a sufficient inventory of medications, including antidotes and emergency medications, to meet the needs of our patients.
- Oversee the drug control systems, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and facility policies.
- Graduate of an accredited school of pharmacy with a BS or PharmD degree.
- Licensure from the State of Texas Board of Pharmacy and evidence of annual renewal.
- At least two years of experience in pharmacy, with a strong background in pain and symptom management.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively within an interdisciplinary team.
