About the Role

The Surgical Technologist is a vital member of the operating room team, responsible for ensuring the smooth execution of surgical procedures. This role requires a high level of attention to detail, strong communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist with the preparation and care of surgical patients, ensuring their safety and comfort throughout the procedure.
  • Prepare and maintain surgical instrumentation and equipment, ensuring they are in good working order and meet the highest standards of hygiene and safety.
  • Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure seamless communication and coordination during procedures.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay up-to-date with the latest techniques and technologies.
Requirements
  • Graduate of a Certified Surgical Technologist program or equivalent experience.
  • National certification as a Surgical Technologist is preferred.
  • Active Washington State Surgical Technologist Registration is required prior to start date.
  • Health Care Provider level CPR certification is required.
