Job Title: Process Engineer

At RGBSI, we are seeking a highly skilled Process Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and effective production of high-quality products.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead and motivate a team of Process Technicians to ensure they have the necessary training, direction, and evaluation to perform their duties effectively.
  • Develop and maintain process standards for all parts manufactured, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Review production and operating records to identify and resolve technical processing issues.
  • Implement established action plans to address processes that are out of range.
  • Manage project planning and buy-off of new equipment to ensure seamless integration.
  • Explore new materials and processes to achieve optimal quality, process, and reliability.
  • Train and motivate mold setters to ensure they have the necessary training and evaluation.
  • Verify and apply narrow ranges for optimum processes to meet customer expectations.
  • Compile data and analyze past and current information to assist in budget preparation and reduce operational costs.
  • Collaborate with tool shops for all tool repairs and maintenance.
  • Maintain documentation closely, following necessary timelines on specific projects.
  • Enforce safety rules daily.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's Level Degree in Plastics, Manufacturing, or Mechanical Engineering, or a related field. Equivalent work experience may also be considered.
  • 2-5 years of experience in Injection Molding with presses ranging from 85-3200 tons.
  • At least 2 years of experience in the automotive industry.
