We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced HVAC Supervisor to join our Facilities department at the Houston Zoo. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our HVAC systems, ensuring the comfort and well-being of our animals and guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and train a team of HVAC technicians to ensure the efficient operation of our systems.
  • Coordinate daily activities and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines and budget goals.
  • Inspect and maintain HVAC equipment, including refrigeration systems, to ensure optimal performance and safety.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical malfunctions, and perform routine maintenance tasks.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field, such as mechanical engineering or HVAC technology.
  • At least 5 years of experience in commercial HVAC operations, with a focus on supervisory roles.
  • Class A TDLR License and Universal EPA Certification required.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
