Advanced Algorithm Developer

We are looking for a talented Advanced Algorithm Developer to join our team at Sparktek. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and implementing advanced control algorithms in MATLAB/Simulink, as well as experience in reviewing and ensuring the quality of software implementations.
The successful candidate will work closely with our engineering team to design and develop innovative solutions that meet our high standards of quality and performance.
Responsibilities include:
- Researching and developing advanced control methods for improving closed-loop system performance
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate and test new controller designs on hardware with different maturity levels
- Contributing to the continuous improvement of verification methods and processes
Requirements:
Key Qualifications- Bachelor's Degree with 7 years of relevant working experience or advanced degree with 5 years of relevant working experience
- Expertise in use of modeling & simulation software (MATLAB/Simulink strongly preferred)
- Familiarity with multi-body kinematics and dynamics
Preferred qualifications include experience with real-time software on microprocessor-based systems and developing software in a Linux environment.
Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per year.
