Position Overview:

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic individual to join our Customer Service team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, enhancing our sales effectiveness, and contributing to the overall efficiency of our service operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Respond to incoming inquiries from clients in a professional manner
  • Accurately document customer interactions and maintain detailed records
  • Update and manage the customer relationship management (CRM) system
  • Oversee the order processing lifecycle from initiation to completion
  • Ensure timely follow-up on customer orders and inquiries
  • Verify the accuracy of customer and order information
  • Assist with payment processing and follow up on outstanding payments

Supervisory Responsibilities:

This role does not include supervisory duties.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) preferred
  • Strong communication and organizational skills (bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus)
  • Minimum of one year of experience in customer service or call center environments
  • Proficient in customer service etiquette via email and phone
  • Computer literacy with data entry capabilities
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite: Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Able to navigate multiple software applications and comprehend various customer service tools
  • Familiarity with Great Plains (GP) is advantageous

The physical demands for this position are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions. Reasonable accommodations may be made for individuals with disabilities.

Specific vision abilities required include close and distance vision. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to sit, use hands and fingers, and communicate effectively. The role may require lifting and moving boxes or packages not exceeding 20 pounds. Some work-related stress and extended hours may be necessary.

Work Environment:

This position is based in an office setting with a normal noise level.
