About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Commercial Refrigeration and HVAC Service Technician to join our team in Pensacola, FL. As an essential member of our service team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch repair and maintenance services to commercial kitchen equipment, ensuring optimal performance and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and repair various commercial kitchen equipment, including refrigeration units, HVAC systems, and cooking appliances.
  • Inspect equipment and related components to ensure safe operation and identify potential issues.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and branch staff regarding repair statuses, maintaining schedule adherence and addressing any delays.
  • Complete service tickets in accordance with company procedures, adhering to all regulatory requirements and safety standards.
  • Manage truck stock to ensure necessary parts are readily available, minimizing downtime and optimizing service efficiency.
  • Maintain service vehicles, tools, and uniforms to meet Tech24 standards, reflecting our commitment to excellence and professionalism.
  • Serve as a positive role model for less experienced technicians, promoting company values and best practices.

Requirements

  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
  • 3-5 years of relevant experience in commercial kitchen equipment repair, preferably with industry-standard hand tools and mechanical aptitude.
  • Excellent customer service skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with customers and branch staff.
  • Dependable, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team, adapting to changing priorities and schedules.
  • Proficient in standard computer applications, including service ticket software and inventory management systems.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within the region, with availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as part of an on-call rotation (frequency varies).
  • Mechanically inclined with a desire to learn new techniques and approaches, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
