H.B. Fuller Company is seeking a skilled Industrial Maintenance Technician to join our team. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our manufacturing facilities.
Key Responsibilities- Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on mechanical equipment and systems, including pumps, compressors, piping, and boilers.
- Troubleshooting: Troubleshoot and diagnose issues with mechanical equipment and systems to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
- Preventive Maintenance: Participate in our preventive maintenance program to ensure equipment reliability and extend the lifespan of our assets.
- Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of mechanical equipment and systems to identify potential issues and take corrective action.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and report any equipment issues to management.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 lbs. unassisted and work in confined spaces, at heights, and on systems with hazardous materials.
- Experience: Previous experience in maintenance and repair of mechanical equipment and systems preferred.
- Skills: Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills, ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineered drawings, and knowledge of hand tools and power tools.
- Piping Systems: Experience with piping systems, including modifying, cleaning, and maintaining.
- Preventive Maintenance: Experience maintaining a preventive maintenance program.
- Boiler and Cooling Tower Experience: Experience with boiler and cooling tower systems.
- Actuated Valving Systems: Knowledge of actuated valving systems.
- Fabrication and Welding: Experience with fabrication and welding.
This position requires working in a manufacturing or industrial environment, with exposure to various weather conditions, hazardous materials, and confined spaces. Personal protective equipment (PPE) will be provided as required.
