Position Overview

Join the Cardiovascular Associates of America where our team of experienced, board-certified cardiologists and Advanced Practice Providers (APP) leverage cutting-edge technology to deliver exceptional cardiovascular care. Our services encompass cardiac wellness, prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of various heart conditions, including coronary artery disease, valve disorders, hypertension, cardiovascular disease, arrhythmias, and heart failure.

As we enhance our cardiovascular services, we are seeking a dedicated, patient-focused Interventional Cardiologist to join our team. This role will involve working in various settings, including clinics, hospitals, and surgical centers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Work primarily in hospital and laboratory settings initially, transitioning to clinic-based services over time.
  • Perform interventional procedures, including diagnostics and coronary interventions, with opportunities for peripheral vascular procedures.
  • Provide general cardiovascular care, including echocardiograms, nuclear imaging, cardiac CT, transesophageal echocardiograms, stress testing, consultations, and medication management.
  • Maintain a Monday to Friday schedule with shared on-call responsibilities among colleagues, supported by additional APPs during weekends and weekdays.

Qualifications

  • Board Certified in Cardiovascular Medicine, with Board Certification or Eligibility in Interventional Cardiology.
  • Completion of a US Accredited Internal Medicine and Cardiovascular Medicine program.
  • MD or DO degree (practicing physicians or fellows are encouraged to apply).
  • Preferred Board Certification in Nuclear Medicine and Echocardiography.
  • Commitment to patient satisfaction and quality care.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment.
