Aerospace Level II Technician Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Aerospace Level II Technician to join our team at Team Industrial Services. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for performing nondestructive testing (NDT) inspections and ensuring the quality of our products.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform NDT inspections using various techniques, including radiography, ultrasonic testing, and magnetic particle testing.
  • Interpret test results and report findings to management and customers.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of quality control procedures.
  • Collaborate with other team members to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in NDT.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Minimum 2 years of experience in NDT field as a certified technician in at least 2 methods.
  • Previous certification to Level II in a minimum of one method (PT, MT, UT, RT, ET) preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Work Environment:

This position is based out of a branch or site location and requires frequent travel to job sites. You will be working in a plant atmosphere with extreme noise levels and must be able to wear safety equipment as required by the safety department for personal protection.

Physical and Mental Requirements:
  • Ability to lift and carry 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to walk and climb except when performing non-field duties.
  • Sufficient clarity of speech and hearing or other communication capabilities, with or without reasonable accommodation, which permits employee to communicate effectively.
  • Sufficient vision or other powers of observation, with or without reasonable accommodations, which permits employee to investigations.
