Dietary Assistant

Oakwood Village is seeking a skilled Dietary Aide to provide exceptional meal service to residents and visitors. As a Dietary Aide, you will be responsible for ensuring a pleasant dining experience and maintaining a clean and sanitized kitchen environment.
The Dietary Aide position offers:
- Flexible scheduling with full-time or part-time hours, including AM and PM shifts with no work past 7PM
- A competitive starting pay rate of $16/hour
- Additional pay for hours worked after 3PM and on weekends
- A weekend rotation is required for all positions

- Provide prompt and courteous service to all guests
- Serve dinner to residents, staff, and visitors according to menu
- Check the assignment board for evening table assignments
- Work in the dish room as assigned and properly store clean dishes
- Prepare for meals by folding napkins and presetting tables
- Buss tables as assigned for proper cleanup of dirty dishes
- Reset the dining room for the next day's service
- Restock condiments on tables
- Maintain clean and sanitized areas, including workstations, resident dining room, and dish and pots/pans areas
- Properly label and store food in workstation areas
- Finish assigned cleaning duties after guests have left the dining room
- Communicate with the Dining Room Coordinator for any cleanup or setup of catering needs
- Carry out job responsibilities in an accurate and conscientious manner
- Exercise independent judgment and make sound decisions
- Communicate effectively with residents, families, team members, and vendors
- Work a weekend and holiday schedule
