Lubricants Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Lubricants Engineer to join our team working on advanced systems for the US Navy. The successful candidate will provide support to the Navy's Lube Oil Quality Management (LOQM) Program.
Responsibilities:- Perform evaluations and analysis of shipboard testing results and commercial lab testing results collected at remote sites.
- Interface with Navy shipboard personnel to evaluate and maintain quality of shipboard lube oil and fuel oil programs.
- Make lube oil machinery recommendations to ships force, inspectors and shoreside maintenance personnel.
- Provide on-site training of LOQM best practices and shipboard lab equipment to shipboard personnel.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Chemical, Mechanical, or Materials Engineering, and two (2) years of experience in U.S. Navy ship systems, including mechanical/electrical system design, repair, installation, modification, operation, maintenance, and testing.
- Possess or be eligible to obtain a security clearance.
- Competitive salary range: $56,000 - $87,500 per year.
- Full-time and part-time employees working at least 20 hours a week on a regular basis are eligible to participate in our benefit programs.
