Calgon Carbon, A Kuraray Company is seeking a skilled Welder II LAV to join our team in Pittsburgh, PA. As a Welder II LAV, you will be responsible for welding all vessels and structural components using various welding processes, including SMAW, FCAW, SAW, GTAW, and GMAW. You will work under the supervision of the E&A supervisor or group leader and be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe shop environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Weld all vessels and structural components using various welding processes
• Perform non-destructive testing of pressure retaining welds
• Inspect own work to ensure compliance with drawings and weld procedures
• Assist with incoming parts inspection and final product inspection
• Operate Fork trucks, jib cranes, and overhead crane
• Complete ASME code weld log documentation daily

Requirements

• A High School diploma or Trade School certification
• Capability to obtain ASME section 9 in GTAW, GMAW, and FCAW certification while Employed
• 2 years of experience welding on pressure vessels and FCAW welding process
• CCC procedures certification
