Position Overview:
The Lead Registered Nurse Supervisor plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional healthcare services to our veteran residents. This position is designed for a dedicated professional who is committed to ensuring the highest standards of patient care and safety.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the provision of quality nursing care to residents, ensuring compliance with established protocols and regulations.
- Conduct initial and ongoing assessments of resident health and well-being.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed, while monitoring resident responses and adjusting care plans as necessary.
- Supervise nursing staff, providing guidance and support to ensure effective care delivery.
- Coordinate shift assignments, ensuring that staff are appropriately matched to resident care needs.
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation reflecting resident status and care provided.
- Participate in emergency response efforts and ensure that nursing staff are prepared for any critical situations.
- Engage in continuous professional development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications:
- Current licensure as a Registered Nurse in the state.
- A minimum of three years of nursing experience, with at least one year in a supervisory role.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing or a related field is preferred.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and basic computer skills.
- Valid CPR certification is required.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
