Job Summary

The Assembly Associate - Button Production is responsible for applying adhesive to various styles of buttons and ensuring product meets customer requirements. This role is part of our Advanced Materials and Structures business unit, located at our distribution center in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

  • Adhesive Application
    • Pull correct materials for each work order
    • Follow FIFO (First-In-First-Out) procedure
  • Inspection & Packaging Product
    • Proper inspection of buttons and adhesive alignment
    • Follow all inspection procedures
    • Correctly write Lot ID#, Load ID#, and expiration dates on all paperwork and labels if required
    • Package all products according to customer specifications
    • Ensure Dock Audits are performed, by the Quality Department, before orders are forwarded to Shipping
    • Fill out supply orders when needed
  • Paperwork
    • Read and understand all procedures related to work orders
    • Complete all paperwork with correct information
    • Communicate all necessary information with Supervisor

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • 1-2 years of experience in distribution, production, or manufacturing environment preferred, but not required
