Job Title: Psychiatric Technician

Join our team as a Psychiatric Technician and contribute to the delivery of high-quality mental health services to our patients. As a key member of our team, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive care to individuals with mental health needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide direct care to patients, including administering medications, observing patients, and identifying individual personal needs.
  • Collaborate with other members of the mental health team to develop and implement individualized care plans.
  • Conduct assessments, provide education, and support patients and their families in achieving their mental health goals.
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures to ensure high-quality care.
Requirements:
  • Current valid license as a Psychiatric Technician or Vocational Nurse issued by the State of California.
  • Two years of full-time experience as a psychiatric technician, mental health technician, or nurse in a mental health/psychiatric setting.
  • One year of the required full-time experience must have been in a community mental health program.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Crisis Prevention & Intervention (CPI) certified.
  • AVADE Workplace Violence Prevention Training.
  • Experience using Cerner.
