Job Summary: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our team at ALDI. As a key member of our warehouse operations, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient receipt, storage, and shipment of products to our stores.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Receiving and Processing: Selects and receives incoming stock efficiently to effectively fulfill orders received from stores.
  • Inventory Management: Relocates merchandise throughout the warehouse according to product handling guidelines.
  • Order Fulfillment: Sorts, organizes and loads merchandise strategically in preparation for shipment and unloads incoming shipment from trucks/ back-hauls.
  • Warehouse Maintenance: Performs general cleaning duties to achieve warehouse appearance standards and safety requirements.
  • Inventory Control: Participates in-taking warehouse inventory counts according to guidelines.
  • Team Collaboration: Cooperates and interacts effectively with peers, suppliers and warehouse leadership through ongoing communication and exchange of information.
  • Process Improvement: Provides input to the warehouse management regarding changes to improve processes.
  • Quality Control: Inspects product, consults with the warehouse management regarding product quality, safety concerns and sanitation issues.
  • Equipment Operation: Acts and decides independently within the delegated area of responsibility.
  • Performance Metrics: Assists warehouse management in achieving budgeted goals.
  • Adherence to Policies: Performs all assigned tasks, accurately, efficiently, and within company policy and procedures.
  • Employee Safety: Follows the ergonomic program according to established procedures.
  • Equipment Safety: Operates equipment according to safety guidelines in performance of essential job functions.
  • Reporting Incidents: Notifies management regarding product quality, safety concerns, and sanitation issues.

Requirements:

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Physical Demands: Frequently required to lift and place product weighing up to 45 pounds on pallets at various heights.
  • Work Environment: Continuously work in varying temperatures, hot and cold (including outdoor temperatures and refrigerator/freezer environments).
  • Equipment Operation: Ability to safely and properly operate powered industrial equipment.
