We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapy Assistant to join our team at Mass General Brigham in East Greenwich, Rhode Island. This is a full-time opportunity that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for providing physical therapy services under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist to patients who have impairments, functional limitations or disabilities resulting from injury, disease or other causes. This includes collaborating with other members of the interdisciplinary team, educating patient, families and others as directed by the Physical Therapist, and coordinating technical, environmental and financial resources effectively and efficiently.
Requirements and Qualifications- Graduate of an accredited Physical Therapist Assistant program
- Licensed (and in good standing) as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Rhode Island
- BLS required
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the English language
- Basic skills in math and computer science
- Appropriate knowledge of physical therapy treatment techniques to manage the rehabilitation population
- Effective problem solving skills for physical therapy treatment planning and execution taking into consideration patient's age, psychosocial, cultural and religious background
$65,000 - $80,000 per year
