Job Summary: We are seeking a reliable and safety-conscious Suburban Bus Operator to transport students to and from school. As a vital member of our team, you will ensure the safe and efficient transportation of students while providing exceptional customer service.

Salary and Benefits: This position offers a competitive salary range of $47,250 - $60,000 per year, depending on experience. Additionally, you will be eligible for a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, retirement plan, and paid time off.

Responsibilities:

  • Transport students to and from school safely and efficiently
  • Maintain discipline and order on the bus
  • Communicate effectively with students, parents, and staff
  • Perform pre- and post-trip inspections of the bus
  • Follow all traffic laws and regulations

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) required
  • Ability to pass a DOT physical and drug & alcohol testing
  • Knowledge of rural roads and city streets within the district preferred
