Job Title: Occupational Therapist

Job Summary:

Jet Health is seeking a skilled Occupational Therapist to provide high-quality care to our patients in the comfort of their own homes. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and implementing interventions to help patients achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough assessments: Evaluate patients' occupational performance in areas such as self-care, work, leisure, and rest.
  • Develop treatment plans: Create personalized plans to address patients' needs and goals.
  • Implement interventions: Provide direct therapeutic interventions to address ROM, strength, coordination, adaptive equipment needs, and environmental modifications.
  • Document patient progress: Accurately document clinical notes, phone orders, and other records in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with patients and caregivers: Work closely with patients, representatives, and caregivers to ensure effective communication and coordination of care.
  • Supervise and guide staff: Supervise and guide occupational therapy assistants and home health aides as appropriate.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy.
  • Licensure: Current State License as an Occupational Therapist, Current driver's license required.
  • Experience: One year of experience as an Occupational Therapist preferred. Home health experience preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in therapy skills as per accepted standards of practice, good interpersonal skills, current CPR certification, and knowledge of durable medical equipment.
