Job Description

Job Summary:

Norwill Inc is seeking a highly skilled Installation/Service Technician to join our team. As an Installation/Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing and servicing electronic security systems, including video surveillance systems, burglary alarm systems, access control systems, intercom systems, vehicle GPS systems, mobile video surveillance systems, and A/V systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install and service electronic security systems in commercial and residential environments
  • Run low voltage wiring, conduits, and perform attic work as required
  • Trim devices, set up client devices, and train clients on system use
  • Meet with clients to discuss system requirements and provide quotes
  • Travel throughout FL, GA, and SC on a weekly basis to install and service systems
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with varying schedules, including occasional Saturdays
  • Collaborate with other technicians and support staff to ensure seamless system installation and maintenance

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in a related field, such as cable/internet/satellite technician, electrician, fiber optic technician, telecom technician, or phone/data/network cabling technician
  • Knowledge of analog and IP surveillance equipment, including DVRs, NVRs, analog cameras, digital IP cameras, network routers, and switches
  • Understanding of low voltage wiring, conduits, and safety procedures
  • Ability to lift heavy objects, work at heights, and use hand and power tools
  • Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
  • Pass a background check and drug screening
