Job Summary:

We are seeking a compassionate and skilled Certified Nursing Assistant/Van Driver to join our team at Afton Oaks Nursing & Rehab Center. As a CNA/Van Driver, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and transportation services to our residents.

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver safe and compassionate bedside care to our patients and residents, working collaboratively with a team of passionate healthcare professionals.
  • Build strong relationships with patients, their families, and other team members, creating a warm and caring environment.
  • Champion quality care and quality of life to create an exceptional customer experience.

Van Driver Responsibilities:

  • Ensure the safety of each resident when transporting to and from medical appointments.
  • Accompany each resident on all medical visits, staying with them until the visit is complete.
  • Observe guidelines at each visit, including signing in residents, presenting documents, and obtaining new prescriptions.

Qualifications:

  • Certification as a Nursing Assistant in the state.
  • Excellent verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency in reporting with accuracy.
  • Physical ability to help ambulatory and non-ambulatory residents transfer to and from wheelchair to vehicle.
  • Valid state driver's license and clean driving record.
