Job Title: Ultrasound Technologist Level I

Advocate Aurora Health is seeking a skilled Ultrasound Technologist Level I to join our team in Justice, Illinois.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to perform ultrasound procedures and provide exceptional patient care. The successful candidate will be responsible for positioning patients, selecting technical factors, and operating ultrasound equipment to obtain high-quality scans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Position patients and select technical factors to obtain optimal quality scans
  • Operate ultrasound equipment to perform procedures and assist physicians with recommendations
  • Deliver patient care and maintain department standards of quality improvement
  • Prepare ultrasound rooms and maintain patient confidentiality
  • Document patient records and maintain accurate inventory of supplies
Requirements:
  • ARDMS Registry eligible
  • CPR Certification
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
  • Ability to lift up to 35 pounds and use patient handling equipment when necessary
Working Conditions:

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced environment with exposure to radiation and the ability to communicate with patients and colleagues. The position requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team to provide high-quality patient care.
