We are seeking a highly skilled Physical Therapist Assistant to join our team at Interim Healthcare of Western Michigan - Staffing. As a Physical Therapist Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the success of our organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interdisciplinary Assessment: Participate in ongoing interdisciplinary assessment of patients to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Plan of Care Development: Act at the direction of the treating physical therapist and in accordance with the plan of care to provide effective patient treatment.
  • Documentation and Communication: Document patient progress and response to treatment, and effectively communicate with other healthcare team members to promote coordination of patient care.
  • Counseling and Education: Counsel and educate patients and their families on healthcare-related needs and promote patient progress toward mutually established goals.
Requirements
  • Licensure and Certification: Current licensure as a physical therapist assistant in the state of Michigan and active CPR certification.
  • Experience: Two years of experience as a physical therapist assistant in the last five years.
  • Previous Experience: Previous home health experience is a plus.
