About the Role:
As an Esthetics Educator at Douglas J Companies, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of skincare by inspiring and educating our students. We are seeking experienced skincare specialists and licensed Esthiology Educators to join our team and share their expertise with our daytime and evening students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Teaching and Mentoring: Teach assigned classes under the supervision and guidance of the Education Coach & Program Team Lead, helping students fulfill their maximum potential in mastering course content.
- Knowledge and Expertise: Maintain thorough and up-to-date knowledge in teaching field, ensuring you are well-versed in the latest skincare techniques and trends.
- Classroom Management: Ensure student compliance with school rules and regulations, maintaining a professional and respectful learning environment.
- Grading and Feedback: Grade and return student work in a timely manner, providing constructive feedback to help students improve.
- Sanitation and Safety: Instruct students on proper sanitation methods and oversee sanitation efforts throughout the day, ensuring a safe and healthy learning environment.
Qualifications:
- Experience: At least 2 years of experience working in skincare, with a strong understanding of skincare techniques and trends.
- Licensure: Must hold an active State of Michigan Esthetician license.
- Leadership and Role Modeling: Demonstrate leadership and role model capabilities, with the ability to hold others accountable and inspire excellence.
- Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, colleagues, and management.
