Responsibilities
  • Cleaning and Maintenance: Perform daily cleaning tasks, including sweeping, mopping, and dusting of floors, walls, and surfaces.
  • Equipment Operation: Operate various cleaning equipment, such as pressure washers, blowers, and vacuum cleaners, to maintain the cleanliness of our facilities.
  • Trash and Recycling: Remove litter and empty trash cans, ashtrays, and sanitary receptacles throughout the community.
  • Restocking and Supply Management: Restock towel, toilet paper, and soap dispensers, and maintain inventory of cleaning supplies.
  • Event Support: Assist in setting up and resetting rooms for events and meetings, and ensure that facilities are clean and ready for use.
  • Safety and Security: Maintain a safe and secure environment throughout the building and property, and report any safety concerns or issues to management.
  • Communication: Communicate effectively with residents, guests, and colleagues to ensure that facilities are clean and well-maintained.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalency preferred.
  • Experience: One to three years of janitorial or housekeeping experience preferred.
  • Skills: Strong customer service skills, effective verbal communication skills, and ability to work independently.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift 50 pounds, work in an upright standing position or walking continuously for long periods of time, and navigate the property/building as required.
