Job Title: Medical Imaging Nurse

Banner Health is seeking a skilled Medical Imaging Nurse to join our team. As a Medical Imaging Nurse, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced environment.

Job Summary:

This position assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and documents nursing care of patients in accordance with organizational policies and standards of professional nursing practice. The Medical Imaging Nurse will work closely with the IR team to perform procedures, administer moderate sedation, and provide pre and post-procedural patient care.

Responsibilities:
  • Assess patient physical, psychological, social, spiritual, educational, developmental, cultural, and discharge planning needs.
  • Formulate a plan of care, including the discharge plan, utilizing assessment data and patient, family, and health team input.
  • Initiate a plan of care based on patient-specific needs and goals.
  • Provide pre and post-procedural patient care for patients undergoing interventional radiology procedures.
  • Administer moderate sedation under the direction of a provider for interventional radiology procedures.
Requirements:
  • Previous critical care experience required (ED or ICU), previous IR or procedural-based experience preferred.
  • PACU & Transport experience preferred.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment on a team of nurses, techs, and physicians.
