Job Summary:

Skookum Educational Programs is seeking a skilled Plumber II to join our team. As a Plumber II, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Test, certify, and repair backflow assemblies
  • Maintain, repair, inspect, and work on medical gas pipes and assist third-party inspectors
  • Install, repair, and maintain all plumbing equipment and components for water, sewer, swimming pools, inert gas, natural gas, air vacuum, compressed air systems, steam, and POL equipment
  • Remove blockages from drain lines, interior and exterior sewers, floor drains, fan coil units, air handling units, stacks, vents, and storm drainage systems
  • Adjust, repair, or replace leaky joints, faucets, and other outlets to maintain proper and efficient operation of plumbing and steam fitting systems
  • Install and repair domestic, industrial, and commercial hot water heaters, hot water storage tanks, and plumbing fixtures, equipment, and components
  • Install or replace and connect water, air, natural gas, sewage, and water/storm fixtures
  • Operate, clean, and maintain required tools and special equipment
  • Perform scheduled maintenance on plumbing systems and fixtures
  • Apply all code requirements during installations, repairs, and maintenance

Requirements:

  • Knowledge of plumbing systems, fixtures, and equipment
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
