Position Overview
">We are seeking a highly motivated Master Automotive Repair Technician to join our team. As a key member of our service department, you will play a crucial role in delivering top-notch automotive maintenance services, including oil changes, tire rotations, and other crucial routine maintenance services.
Key Responsibilities
">Leadership and Motivation:
">- Provide an example of leadership to achieve high levels of productivity and quality service.
- Foster a positive and collaborative team environment.
Shop Organization and Efficiency:
">- Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient workshop to enhance productivity.
- Implement and enforce shop procedures for optimal performance.
Routine Maintenance Services:
">- Perform oil changes, tire rotations, and tire replacement services and other routine maintenance services in accordance with industry standards.
Focus on Technology:
">- Stay abreast of the latest automotive technologies and implement them into repair and diagnostic processes.
- Provide guidance and training to the team on new technologies.
Vehicle Inspection:
">- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections to identify and assess mechanical issues, safety concerns, and areas requiring maintenance.
- Provide detailed reports on inspection findings, including recommended repairs and maintenance to ensure the safety and reliability of customer vehicles.
Personal Billable Hours:
">- Consistently produce a minimum of 30 billable hours per week through hands-on work.
- Lead by example in delivering high-quality, efficient repairs.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs):
">- Services Performed: Measure service completion and accuracy rate of services performed.
- Vehicle Inspection: Measure inspection completion and accuracy rate of identified critical issues.
- Customer Satisfaction: Ensure a high level of customer satisfaction through quality repairs and excellent service.
- Training and Development: Assess and enhance your skill levels through training and development initiatives.
- Efficiency Metrics: Monitor and improve technician efficiency metrics, including turnaround times and completion rates.
