Speech-Language Pathologist for Elementary and Middle/High School Caseloads in Midfield, AL

We are seeking a highly skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to join our team in Midfield, AL. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1+ years of experience in speech therapy and be certified by ASHA.
The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing students referred for possible speech and language needs, providing individual and/or group therapy sessions, and developing individualized education plans. They will also consult with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators on speech and language concerns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Assessing students and developing individualized education plans
- Providing individual and/or group therapy sessions
- Consulting with teachers, counselors, parents, nurses, and administrators
- Maintaining accurate records for all students on the caseload
- Providing reports of student progress to parents
We are looking for candidates with excellent communication skills, solid organization, and up-to-date knowledge of Alabama Special Education procedures and best practices for SLPs in school settings. The ideal candidate will be professional, accountable, and able to work effectively in a team environment.
Requirements include:
- Alabama SLP license
- Department of Education certification
This is a contract assignment with the option for part-time or full-time work. The successful candidate will be assigned to an elementary school caseload for part-time work or an elementary and either a middle or high school caseload for full-time work.
