About the Role

This extraboard position is responsible for delivering food and related products to customers in a timely and safe manner, adhering to Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations. As a key member of our team, you will interact professionally with customers, conduct safety checks, and complete required documentation accurately.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will be responsible for:
• Driving a tractor trailer or straight truck on intrastate and interstate local, over-the-road (OTR), shuttle, and overnight and drive and drop routes
• Delivering and/or unloading food and food-related products to customers in a safe and timely manner
• Conducting safety checks and ensuring that all equipment is properly secured
• Completing required documentation, including paperwork associated with freight and delivery
• Interacting professionally with customers, vendors, and co-workers to ensure accurate and timely responses to questions and requests
• Performing any duty assigned to best serve the company

Requirements and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:
• 12 months commercial driving experience
• A high school diploma/GED or state-approved equivalent
• A valid CDL A
• Meet all State licensing and/or certification requirements (where applicable)
• Be 21 years of age or older
• Have a clean Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) for the past 3 years
• Pass a post-offer drug test and criminal background check
• Pass a road test
• Hold a valid current DOT Health Card or be able to secure one
• Be able to hand-lift and utilize two-wheeler, lift gate, and/or other equipment to move and/or stack product cases/freight of varying size and weight throughout shift
