Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and play a key role in maintaining the integrity of our properties. As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the maintenance team, ensuring timely completion of work orders, and maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Leadership: Supervise, train, and motivate the maintenance staff to ensure seamless execution of maintenance tasks.
  • Maintenance Operations: Conduct regular property inspections, address maintenance needs, and follow up on service requests performed by the maintenance team.
  • Work Order Management: Complete work orders in a timely manner based on priority, ensuring minimal disruption to residents and staff.
  • Make Ready Process: Inspect and coordinate the make ready process to ensure properties are ready for new residents.
  • Customer Service: Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills by treating residents, staff, and vendors with professionalism and respect.
  • Property Grounds and Common Areas: Maintain property grounds and common areas to meet company standards, ensuring a clean and well-maintained environment.
  • Preventative Maintenance: Implement and maintain a preventative maintenance program to minimize equipment downtime and extend the lifespan of assets.
  • Shop and Work Area Maintenance: Maintain a clean and well-organized shop and other work areas, ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment for all staff and residents.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent, with a college degree preferred.
  • License and Certifications: Valid Driver's License and EPA HVAC certification required.
  • Communication and Interpersonal Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely manner.
  • Technical Skills: Basic computer knowledge in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel) and ability to learn new software and systems.
  • Work Schedule: Willingness to work a flexible schedule, including weekends, to meet the needs of the property and residents.
  • Authorization: Legal authorization to work in the United States required.
