We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Machine Learning Engineer to join our team at Zoox. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining large-scale high-performance machine learning systems.

You will work closely with our AI, simulation, and infrastructure teams to push the boundaries of scalability and performance, and bring state-of-the-art machine learning and optimization applications to production.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Architecting and scaling the core capabilities of our platform
  • Designing and supporting large-scale high-performance infrastructure services
  • Leading complex cross-functional projects
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in machine learning and distributed systems

Requirements include:

  • 6+ years of industry experience in architecting and scaling distributed systems in production
  • Experience building high-performance machine learning workflows
  • BS/MS in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Fluency in production-level Python

Bonus qualifications include:

  • Experience building resilient high-performance services in the cloud
  • Experience with hyperparameter optimization or large-scale simulations
  • Experience with CUDA
  • Fluency in C++

Compensation includes a salary range of $196,000 to $246,000, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights.

Zoox offers a comprehensive package of benefits, including paid time off, unpaid time off, health insurance, long-term care insurance, long-term and short-term disability insurance, and life insurance.
