About the Role

At Radixsol, we are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Orthopedic Specialist to join our team. This is an exceptional opportunity for a medical professional with expertise in hand surgery to work in a dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough patient interviews to gather vital information on their medical history and allergies.
  • Utilize specialized equipment to diagnose patients accurately and identify bone fractures or defects.
  • Perform surgical procedures to realign fractured bones or ligaments, or replace joint/hip bones.
  • Prescribe medications and supplements to alleviate pain and strengthen joints.
  • Recommend personalized diet, hygiene, and exercise regimens to enhance healing processes.
  • Collaborate with medical doctors and general practitioners, providing surgical assistance and consultation as needed.
  • Delegate tasks and coordinate the activities of nurses and other medical staff effectively.
  • Ensure medical supplies are inventoried and replaced as necessary to maintain optimal stock levels.
  • Examine surgical implements, equipment, and operating rooms to guarantee sterility and readiness for medical procedures.
  • Provide expert recommendations for addressing lower back and spine issues.
  • Maintain accurate patient profiles and treatment records.
  • Supervise medical students and surgery residents, guiding them in their development.
  • Refer patients to relevant healthcare professionals, such as physical therapists.
  • Engage in ongoing research to improve existing operating procedures and surgical techniques.
  • Keep families informed about treatment progress and necessary steps for recovery.
  • Foster strong working relationships with specialists, including primary care physicians, and other potential sources of referrals.
  • Establish collaborative relationships with colleagues at academic medical centers and admitting hospitals to ensure smooth patient transfers.
  • Ensure timely submission of billing documentation for services rendered at all practice locations.
  • Participate in efforts to standardize supplies, equipment, and operating room processes.
Requirements and Qualifications
  • Extensive experience in orthopedic surgery, particularly hand surgery.
  • Strong diagnostic and surgical skills, with a focus on precision and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse teams.
  • Able to maintain accurate records and prioritize tasks efficiently.

Compensation and Benefits
