POSITION OVERVIEW:

As an Assistant Manager, your primary focus will be to drive sales growth and uphold the company's standards of excellence during your designated shifts. This will involve managing the food service workflow, delegating tasks, overseeing cash management, and ensuring the delivery of top-notch food and exceptional hospitality.

Your role will also encompass training Team Members under the guidance of the General Manager, providing essential support to the General Manager, and assisting in the overall operational management while fostering the development and retention of Team Members.


KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Overseeing Team Members and Shift Leaders, ensuring the highest standards of quality, service, and cleanliness, with a consistent emphasis on profitability.
  • Coordinating training sessions for staff with designated team trainers.
  • Fostering a collaborative and harmonious working relationship with management and fellow Team Members.
  • Addressing HR matters as they arise, including disciplinary actions.
  • Leading team meetings as necessary to discuss operational procedures and promotional activities.
  • Conducting weekly inventory assessments.
  • Managing payroll to align with company labor cost standards.
  • Regulating inventory to comply with company GAP standards.
  • Supporting the management team and General Manager in operational decision-making.
  • Maintaining reports and records in accordance with company standards and state and federal regulations.
  • Ensuring the building and equipment are maintained through proper operating, cleaning, and preventive maintenance protocols.
  • Taking responsibility for cash handling during all shifts, including bank deposits and adherence to cash procedures.
  • Enforcing all sanitation, safety, and security policies and procedures.
  • Upholding personal appearance standards and demonstrating professionalism at all times.
  • Recognizing and adhering to all HR, sanitation, safety, and security policies to ensure a safe and compliant environment for all.
  • Performing additional tasks as directed by management.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
  • Capacity to work in high-temperature environments.
  • Willingness to work in close quarters with others.
  • Capability to lift 50-75 pounds comfortably.
  • Experience working with various cleaning agents.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

  • Valid driver's license.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours, including opening and closing shifts.
  • Reliable transportation and communication method with the restaurant.
