Duties and Responsibilities
  1. Conduct comprehensive health history, physical assessments, and plans for infants, children, and young adults with acute and chronic health conditions.
  2. Order and prescribe pharmacologic and non-pharmacologic interventions, and perform other therapeutic or corrective measures to treat illness and improve health status.
  3. Formulate family-centered plan of care, perform daily documents as necessary, and collaborate and coordinate care with other team members.
  4. Collect data and analyze when necessary, and perform any needed advanced procedures associated with their credentialing process.
  5. Serve as an educational resource to patient/family/nursing staff/provider team and other healthcare teams as needed.
  6. Participate in own professional development by maintaining required competences, certifying body renewals, seeking educational offerings when available, and participates in the professional development of others.

This is a 5-day per week position, without additional weekend or holiday coverage responsibilities. Prior pediatric oncology experience is highly preferred, although not required.
