Position Overview:
A Senior Logistics Analyst employs analytical techniques and various tools to comprehend, forecast, enhance, and/or regulate logistics operations and processes. This role is accountable for data oversight, performance analysis, problem identification, and formulating recommendations that bolster logistics management. The analyst resolves issues by evaluating possible actions within the context of business objectives and standards. Works with minimal oversight and, once assigned general tasks, prioritizes and executes responsibilities effectively. Communicates insights and recommendations to upper management and mentors Logistics Analysts in their daily activities.

Key attributes include being a self-starter, detail-oriented, capable of supporting and leading multiple initiatives, possessing exceptional communication skills, collaborating well within a team, engaging with various levels and functions within the logistics organization, and managing vendor/business relationships.

- Coordinates daily project activities for multiple large-scale initiatives such as Supply Chain Synchronization, Manual Floor Load, and Breakpack Enhancement Implementation.

- Develops and implements scorecards for projects and key organizational metrics to assess performance against business objectives.

- Conducts forecasting and identifies process improvement opportunities related to assigned projects. - Performs analyses to support requested business and systemic enhancements aimed at achieving cost reductions for the organization.

Key Responsibilities:
25% Utilizes quantitative skills to generate and analyze reports that support business execution. Assists the business through ad-hoc queries and maintains reports tailored to departmental or organizational requirements.

25% Develops business tools and solutions leveraging knowledge, products, or technology. Identifies opportunities for logistics process improvements through strategic and critical thinking.

20% Provides insights and recommendations to senior management. Mentors and guides Logistics Analysts.


20% Manages data through data mining, modeling, analysis, cost/benefit analysis, and process mapping while executing daily responsibilities related to the area of accountability.

Develops and maintains cost estimates, forecasts, and financial models. Supports the business through ad-hoc queries and maintains reports.

10% Oversees vendor and business partner relationships.

Direct Manager/Direct Reports:
This position reports to a Manager or Senior Manager.

This position has no direct reports.

Travel Requirements:
Typically requires overnight travel less than 10% of the time.

Physical Requirements:
Most of the time is spent seated in a comfortable position, with frequent opportunities to move about. On rare occasions, there may be a need to lift or move light items.

Minimum Qualifications:
Must be eighteen years of age or older.

Proficient in:
