Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Intensive Care Unit Registered Nurse to join our team at Focus Staff. As a travel nurse, you will have the opportunity to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, providing top-notch care to patients in need.

Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality patient care in the Intensive Care Unit, utilizing your expertise and knowledge to ensure the best possible outcomes.
  • Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs and goals of each patient.
  • Conduct thorough assessments, identify potential complications, and take proactive steps to prevent them.
  • Administer medications, treatments, and other interventions as prescribed by physicians, while monitoring patient responses and adjusting care plans accordingly.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals to ensure seamless care coordination and optimal patient outcomes.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training to stay current with the latest evidence-based practices and technologies.
Requirements
  • 1 year of experience in an ICU setting, with a strong focus on critical care and patient safety.
  • Valid RN license in the state of Connecticut.
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification.
  • Eligibility to work in the United States.
