Join Our Team as a Breakfast Host
At Hampton Inn & Suites, we are seeking a dedicated individual to fill the role of a part-time Breakfast Host. This position is essential in creating a welcoming atmosphere for our guests during their morning meal.
Key Responsibilities:
- Transport food, dishes, trays, and utensils from the pantry to serving areas.
- Arrange appealing food displays while ensuring cleanliness and adherence to food safety standards.
- Maintain the dining area by wiping down tables and seats.
- Quickly address spills and manage waste disposal.
- Ensure adequate supplies are available for guests.
- Refill beverage and ice stations as needed.
- Restock serving areas with condiments and ensure containers are filled.
- Assist guests by locating and providing requested items.
- Keep counters, shelves, and furniture clean and polished, including mopping or vacuuming floors.
- Focus on enhancing guest satisfaction and strive to improve overall service ratings.
- Adhere to safety protocols and utilize necessary safety equipment.
- Commit to delivering exceptional guest experiences.
- Perform additional tasks as assigned by management.
Position Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Food sanitation certification is a plus and must be obtained within 90 days of employment.
- Prior experience in food and beverage service is advantageous, but we are willing to train the right candidate.
- Availability to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays.
- Physical demands include standing for extended periods, walking, and lifting up to 25 pounds.
