Mitchell Martin is seeking a skilled Speech Language Pathologist to join our team in a Skilled Nursing Facility located in Hempstead, NY.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a licensed Speech Language Pathologist with a minimum of one year of experience in long-term care, preferably in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting. The ideal candidate will have experience working with the geriatric population and possess strong communication skills.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide speech-language pathology services to residents in a Skilled Nursing Facility setting
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to meet the unique needs of each resident
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care
  • Conduct assessments, evaluations, and progress monitoring to inform treatment decisions

Requirements:

  • New York State Licensed Speech Language Pathologist
  • Minimum one year prior experience in long-term care
  • Experience working with the geriatric population
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
