Job Title: Assistant Branch Manager

We are seeking an experienced and optimistic financial leader to join our team as an Assistant Branch Manager. As a key member of our branch leadership team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional Member service and coaching and developing employees to exceed sales and service goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Vice President/Branch Manager in delivering the vision, leadership, knowledge, and support necessary to branch associates.
  • Empower associates and maintain a work environment that instills motivation, teamwork, and enterprising attitudes.
  • Meet individual and Credit Union specific goals, and step in as the branch leader in the absence of the Vice President/Branch Manager.
  • Directly and indirectly supervise a branch team of any size and complexity.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • College degree or equivalent work experience in the financial service industry preferred.
  • Minimum of five years of progressively responsible experience in supervision and/or management within a financial institution.
  • Strong Member relationship building skills, ability to effectively communicate verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to be productive, multitasked, results-oriented, and with good computer aptitude.
  • Thorough understanding of physical security, controls, standards, and practices for cash/negotiable items/keys in the financial services industry.
  • Previous experience and ability to train developing Member Service and Financial Service representatives in sound practices of their related job duties and responsibilities.

Salary range: $34.00 per hour. Actual pay will be determined based on a candidate's specific qualifications, including their knowledge, skills, education, and experience, internal equity consideration, as well as other job-related factors permitted by law.
