Criminal Defense Specialist

The salary for this position is estimated to be around $49,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Case Management and Tracking Files
  • Organizing files and docketing/scheduling events
  • Filling out legal forms and assisting clients in filling out forms
  • Drafting letters and simple court documents for Attorney review
  • Reviewing and Summarizing evidence for Attorneys to Review
  • Thorough legal research into new/novel issues, verifying case law, and reviewing legislation as it develops
  • Interview Witnesses and Victims
  • Preparing and responding to discovery
  • Communicating with clients to provide updates and gather information
  • Assisting Lawyers in court (Trial Assistant)

To succeed in this role, you should have strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills.
