Position Overview
ASM Global, a leader in the management of public assembly venues, is seeking a part-time Operations Staff member for custodial duties at the Florence Center.

Key Responsibilities
As a vital part of our team, you will be responsible for:
  • Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene in designated areas consistently.
  • Sanitizing workspaces, including floors, walls, glass surfaces, and restrooms.
  • Properly storing cleaning materials in line with safety protocols.
  • Disposing of waste in assigned locations.
  • Maintaining custodial equipment in good working order.
  • Assisting the setup team with various tasks as required.
  • Adhering to all safety regulations and reporting any hazardous conditions to your supervisor.
  • Utilizing various cleaning machinery such as vacuum cleaners and floor scrubbers.

Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
  • Knowledge of cleaning agents and their appropriate use.
  • The ability to follow both written and verbal instructions effectively.
  • Physical capability to lift up to 30 lbs without assistance.
  • A clean background check.

Education and Experience
Applicants should have:
  • A high school diploma or equivalent.
  • A minimum of one year of experience in janitorial or a related field.

Physical Requirements
This role involves:
  • Constant standing, walking, and bending.
  • Daily lifting and carrying of items weighing up to 30 lbs.

Work Environment
The position is primarily office-based with some exposure to cleaning chemicals.

Work Schedule
Flexibility is required, as hours may include evenings, weekends, and holidays based on event schedules.
