Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Administrator to join our team at Smith & Wesson Brands, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our corporate network infrastructure, ensuring seamless connectivity and optimal performance.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support and maintain our core technologies, including VMware vSphere, Microsoft Windows Servers, Cisco Nexus, and Citrix.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and implement information technology solutions that meet business objectives and service levels.
  • Analyze and recommend new technologies to enhance network compatibility and applicability.
  • Assist in the design, deployment, and maintenance of corporate LANs, WANs, and wireless networks.
  • Implement security systems and their associated software, including firewalls, VPNs, and intrusion detection systems.
  • Test new technologies and proposed changes in a zero-impact lab environment.
  • Respond to incoming calls and pages regarding network connectivity problems and emergency network outages.
  • Perform preventative and fault isolation maintenance on the local and wide area networks.
  • Design and implement disaster recovery plans for operating systems, databases, networks, servers, and software applications.
  • Assume contractual management responsibilities, including vendor selection and contract monitoring.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in an Information Technology field or equivalent technical experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant hands-on experience.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Good command of the English language, both verbal and written communications.
