Key Responsibilities:
The primary duty of the CNA is to provide compassionate care to residents through various tasks, including:

  • Assisting residents with personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing needs.
  • Feeding residents and ensuring they receive adequate nutrition.
  • Responding promptly to resident requests for assistance.
  • Maintaining cleanliness and organization in resident rooms.

Qualifications:
Essential Requirements:

Applicants must meet specific educational and experience criteria, including:

  • A high school diploma or GED, unless working under a student permit.
  • Certification as a CNA in good standing from the Indiana State Department of Health (ISDH).
  • Basic computer proficiency, including familiarity with Excel and Word.
  • Understanding of safe nursing practices within Indiana.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to assist licensed nurses.
  • Capability to follow instructions and make independent decisions.
  • Integrity and tact in dealing with residents and their families.
