Key Responsibilities- Provide personalized support and assistance with daily living activities, including budgeting, meal preparation, and cleaning.
- Implement individualized habilitation plans to promote skill development and independence.
- Foster a safe and inclusive living environment that promotes dignity and respect.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the wellbeing of each resident.
- Document progress and communicate effectively with team members.
- Assist with medications and provide first aid and CPR certification.
- Compassionate and patient demeanor with a genuine desire to support individuals with disabilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to adapt to the unique needs and preferences of each resident.
- Experience working in a residential or community-based setting is preferred but not required.
- Minimum high school diploma or equivalent; additional training or certifications in disability support services are a plus.
- Ability to submit and clear a health and welfare criminal background check.
- Good driving record and proof of a current driver's license, vehicle insurance, and vehicle registration.
